How these texts are written

I write everything myself.

Because that is my method of working, learning, communicating and documenting my experience.

It starts with a thought that I write down and that usually develops into a full text quickly. I typically write in Obsidian, sometimes on paper. The arguments are mine, the experiences are mine and no text claims to be perfect. But it should carry my thought in a way that you can understand both the idea and the feeling behind it.

I use AI.

Specifically Claude by Anthropic. But Claude does not write my texts. Of course it checks grammar and spelling, helps me find errors and translates my German texts into English. German is my native language and my thoughts originate in German.

The strength of the Anthropic models that matters most to me is understanding and evaluating research sources. Claude structures tens of thousands of studies, market data and other research results in a vector database I built with the help of Claude Code. I have these data presented to me in context while I write. I have tried many alternatives including local AI models, but none of them come close to what Anthropic delivers. This way I can argue with data in very little time, something that used to take me many days of research. Most of my texts would not have been written without AI. When gaps arise, they are filled manually through research tools like Perplexity or Gemini and increasingly through APIs directly, for example from scientific journals.

Especially when working with data from the databases as argumentative support, many AI-generated text fragments and phrasings creep in. I clean these up systematically and manually. That is my standard for authenticity and beyond that I need to type every word and formulate every sentence myself so that I process it and expand my own body of knowledge. Ultimately I get paid to share real experience and knowledge. Not AI-generated texts.

This way of processing and documenting knowledge and personal experience has been developing for well over thirty years. Since school. I enjoy reading but I forget much of it. What I have written myself stays with me.

The website itself is built with Astro and runs on Vercel. I write the code with the support of Claude Code. The photos are mine.

If anything about this process changes, I will update this page.

If you want to tell me something about this, write to me.
